How to start business without capital.
How to start business without capital.
We are going to discuss how to start a business without any money.
(a). Researching about the business idea:. You should spend time reading anything you can find on the subject matter. You can do that through Google.
(b). Research on people who has done or has tried to do
The business: and how much people patronize the type of business. In order not to waste our time on it, it’s important to find out who is doing or has done what you want to do so you can know things to avoid. In searching for this, you do not have to restrict it to your home country. Check wide and connect with people. As you try to reach out to others personally, be very careful as some of them realizing what you want to do may try to discourage you or even be seeking expansion to your country and trying to use you as a vehicle etc. Bottom line; Be focused! Be sharp!!
(c). Get to know the risks and minimize them:
You have to invest time and energy to search how to minimize the risk associated
With the business you want to embark on. Because every business has risk attach to it.
(d). Partner with people who believes in your idea and can push you to the next point without
making money a priority: They are often people with a set skill required to help move your idea to the next level and have some experience around what you want to do. Your work is to get them sold out to the idea with your passion and credibility. You both know they will eventually get paid or
even be part of the bigger team but they understand that right now this is just an idea and they are crazy about helping you let the idea see the light of day. Never mind if you have to search 1,000 times to find them or send out random emails 20 times a day to different people you’ve never met until you find that one willing person but trust me when I say they exist. I’m speaking from experience…
(e). Don’t look at the money you will spend. If you look at the money you will spend, you will not start any business when you don’t have any money. Therefore, there are business you can start with out money i.e
1. INVEST IN WEBSITE
One of the most important things that you need to have for your business when you’re first getting started is a website. It’s really important part of having business, and you should try to put one up as soon as possible.
Think of a website as your digital storefront where potential clients can seek you out. They will have all the information they need in one place: your services, your packages, your portfolio/testimonials, and your contact information. This will also allow people to come to you and request to work with you vs. you always having to hustle for the sale through Facebook messages and Instagram DMs. Plus, it just makes you look a lot more professional! If you’re simply into the quick freelance gigs or a hobby side-hustle, then you can forgo a website. However, if you’re looking to establish your own business with a full- time income, especially if you want to be a personal brand, then it’s my strongest recommendation that you invest in a website. Luckily, the investment we’re talking about
today is more in time than money! You can actually get a functional, professional, and beautiful website for no money whatsoever.
FREE OPTION:
BLOGGER: with blogger you can create free website and promote your business even if you don’t have capital to start the business. With only data in your phone, you can do that.
WIX
There are a couple of different options out there for free websites, but my personal preference for this is Wix. Wix is a totally free drag-and-drop website builder, similar to Squarespace. You won’t be able to have your own domain name (like www.mirandanahmias.com) unless you upgrade and purchase a domain name, but that’s not a huge deal. In my opinion, a website without a custom domain name is better than no website at all! Check out my Build Your Biz Bootcamp for a step-by-step tutorial on how to set up a gorgeous free Wix website!
AFFORDABLE OPTION:
WORDPRESS
If you’re willing to put in a tiny bit of an investment, I would definitely recommend WordPress. WordPress is, in my opinion, hands-down the best platform to build your website on. It’s so customizable and functional, and it will easily grow with you as your business expands over time. In order to get started, the WordPress software itself is free, but in order to use it, you need a domain name as well as a website hosting plan. For both of these things, I recommend going with Namecheap’s EasyWP WordPress hosting , which is only $8.88 for the first year! That’s super affordable, and it’s really easy to set up. If you are going to go the WordPress route, you’re also going to need your own domain name. You can use NameCheap for that, as well. They have domain names for as little as $4.88 per year! Along with your domain name and hosting, the last big piece of the puzzle with WordPress is getting a theme. Luckily, there are a lot of inexpensive (or even free!) options out there. Plus, getting a fancy theme isn’t something you have to do right away. It’s totally possible to get started with a free theme and still have your website look nice and professional. Just choose something that’s really clean and plain, and know that in the future you’ll be upgrading eventually — this is just to kind of hold you off until you make enough money to be able to invest that back into your business. WordPress itself has free themes that you can choose from right in the dashboard of your site. But another great free choice is the Astra theme (which also has a paid version that I love).
(f). GOOD SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOTION
on social media is a really important part of the process. You want to make sure that you have active social media accounts on all the popular platforms so that you can interact with peers and potential customers, and start to make a name for yourself in your niche. Try to mostly focus on 1 to 3 platforms when you’re first getting started. However, it’s a good idea to make sure that you secure accounts across all popular platforms with the name of your business when you’re first getting started. This ensures that if in the future you do want to use those platforms, you have the ability to do so. You want to try to find out which platforms your potential clients like to hang out on the most. If your business is in a really specific niche that could definitely vary a lot because some businesses do better on certain platforms vs. others, but in general Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest are going to be your best place.
TRAFFIC GENERATION
The next thing that you’ll want to do is being able to bring traffic to your website. If you can find ways to bring potential clients to your website, you’re statistically more likely to book clients. Lots of people will be viewing your content and noticing that you are offering services that could
